The passion for the product has always pushed Clas to exercise maximum control over the entire production process, in order to guarantee the highest quality standards. For this reason, at the beginning of the year we set up our own agricultural company to directly monitor the whole basil supply chain. So we can control the entire process that brings Pesto to consumers’ homes: from basil seed to finished product. To process our basil to the best conditions, we have purchased machinery dedicated to processing fresh basil and a new production line that guarantees us an annual capacity of approximately 150 million jars. To complete the manufacturing process, there are four packaging lines installed in a structure of about 7 thousand square meters, which will also house logistics. In this way, those qualities that most distinguish us will be pursued: flexibility, a high level of dynamism and attention to the demands of our customers.
The The Research and Development department of CLAS constantly guarantees technological support as well as trained and professional marketing support. Both in 2018 and in 2019 Clas doubled its investments in Research and Development, a fundamental sector for growth: every year the company develops 300 recipes both for its brand and for private label capable of satisfying new market trends. We are sensitive and attentive to the issue of food safety.

The objective of the company is to share the traditions of its territory on the international level. At present, Clas exports to 50 countriesand invests heavily in cuttingedge technology in order to advance its values. The company is also working onnew projects that will be presented in the second half of the year and that will allow it to enter a new, interesting market segment.
